FORGOTTEN FRAME

Privacy policy

A plain description of what this site collects and what it does not. Last reviewed alongside the launch of the current site.

What we collect

Reading Forgotten Frame does not require an account. Our servers keep standard request logs — IP address, user agent, requested page and timestamp — which are used for security and aggregate traffic measurement.

Newsletter and contact forms

The newsletter signup and contact form are not connected yet and do not transmit or store any data. When they are connected, we will use submitted addresses only to send the content requested or to reply to your message, and this page will be updated with the processor we use.

Analytics

Our analytics layer is privacy-conscious by design: it records aggregate page and link events only, without cookies, without identifiers and without personal data. Browser opt-out signals — Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control — are respected automatically. We do not sell personal data and we do not build advertising profiles ourselves.

Advertising

We intend to fund the site with display advertising through Google AdSense. No advertising code is loaded on this site today: the advertising slots are inactive and no publisher account is connected yet. When advertising is switched on, Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers to serve and measure ads, subject to the consent choices described below.

Cookies and consent

The site currently works without advertising or tracking cookies, so no consent prompt is shown. When advertising is enabled, consent for readers in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland will be collected through Google’s Privacy & Messaging consent management platform, which is a Google-certified CMP registered under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework. It is the only consent prompt this site will ever show.

You can review or change those choices at any time using the Privacy settings link in the footer. Until advertising is active, that link brings you to this section because there is nothing stored to change.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@forgottenframe.com and we will respond within one month.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be noted on this page with the date of the revision.
